Introduction

How do you build your project team? You’ve probably realized that there are many forces at work when you are getting your team up and going. You have to contend with technical issues, business issues. Then there are organizational goals and various political motivations that you need to keep in mind.

Analysis

Irrespective of the type of business your organization does, you must realize that to build a team, you must follow three basic rules. The first thing is to consider the various tools and products that you can use on a particular project. This depends on the technology standards your organization employs.

Conclusion

Next, the most important thing to do is choose the right number and right type of people to be on your project team. Most projects are derailed because of small problems like lack of enough good resources or alternately, too many resources. Another problem is the type of people on your project – they must be chosen with care to ensure delivery of the final product/ service within the stipulated time and on budget.
