The Ten Largest IPOs of The Great Recession

The recession has seen a drastic decrease in the number of companies having public offerings, but in such tumultuous economic times, a brave few companies have put their fate in the hands of the public. Perhaps surprisingly, this period witnessed Visa going public - it would be the largest IPO in Wall Street history. Additionally, six out of ten of the largest IPOs have grown since going making their move. Below we outline some of the largest and most notable IPOs and show how each have fared since.
