Adrian Haas

Adrian R. Haas is the Executive Vice President, Information Technology & Systems and International Chief Information Officer at Sony-GITS, an IT Organization (and Sony Corporation Subsidiary) that serves 35,000+ users within the Sony Group of Companies. Appointed in 2004, Mr. Haas is responsible for all aspects of Sony's global Information Technology efforts including IT infrastructures, telecommunications, application development, enterprise architecture, information service delivery and security. Under Mr. Haas' direction, the Global IT Organization and its regional subsidiaries are dedicated to working with internal and external Business partners to accelerate Sony Group's commerce by aligning overall technology with strategic Business goals. During the prior 20 years, Mr. Haas held roles at Tata Group, ABSA, Capgemini and United Nations, serving as CTO, Vice President of IT and Senior Consultant. A Six-Sigma black belt, he holds an MBA and dual Master's Degrees in Computer Science from New York University, University of London and Universidad Complutense respectively. Mr. Haas is an active member of the Internet Governance Forum Advisory Committee (United Nations) and CERT Advisory Board.
