Who's more influential?: A popular blogger with lots of Twitter followers or a Gartner analyst?

I think I would like to have technology discussion with industry analyst than lady Ga Ga. But I am sure she has a unique perspective on cloud computing and I'll be interested to listen :-) more

I am interested in hearing others explain why you don't target for keywords that are too general.

I assume the keywords are for SEM, pay-per-click. In that case if the words are too generic then the conversion ratio will be low and cost per conversion will be higher than well qualified keywords. So for the same SEM budget you'll get low number ... more

Could email die off if companies don't adapt to the social media landscape? Why/why not?

No, it is not going to die. Even the direct mail is not dead yet! I still have my mailbox full. As I always say this is another channel.

Would you say that social media is dependent on email? Why or why not?

I think it is an additional channel to your chat, email, website, phone etc. So the questions is not about dependency but alignment.
