I was previously handling the entire Business Development and Brand Building Process for the Packaged Foods Business and upcoming FMCG brands in Benin, West Africa within the Olam Umbrella. Based at Cotonou, Benin.
Prior to my Benin stint , I had a four month stint in Indonesia with Olam as a Lateral Trainee. Stinted across businesses ranging from Cocoa, Coffee and Spices procurement; Dairy & Rice distribution;Finance function; and also completed a project to optimise fuel usage at the coffee processing unit in Lampung. Major exposure was to Commodity price risk management and hedging based risk optimisation strategies. Picked up Bahasa Indonesia.
In the past I have handled Marketing & Business Development for India's leading Education Service Provider T.I.M.E. Based at Vashi, Navi Mumbai, India
I've also extensively expanded and managed dealer networks as well as provided technical welding consultancy to various manufacturers for India's leading Welding Expertise Provider, ESAB. Based at Andheri/Vashi, Mumbai, India
My long term ultimate professional goals include becoming a serial entrepreneur especially in the areas of Greentech, Energy/Renewables, Agriculture/Commodities, Materials/ Metallurgy, Nanotech & Education.

Yes, more now than in the past because I'm working with a start-up and having my card out there helps that fractionally more.. as Chris mentioned it may be old school, but it's also very effective more
