Bill Eckstrom

Bill has spent his entire career in the sales arena, the first nine years in personal production, the next 11 in strategic sales management and the last two building the EcSELL Institute business. His accomplishments as a sales producer placed him in the top 5% of his industry world wide and he received local and national recognition for his achievements.
He began his management career in 2000 as District Sales Manager for a national medical equipment company and was quickly promoted to Regional Manager, and again promoted, within two years, to U.S. Director of Sales. During this four year stretch (inclusive of 9/11), sales increased over 80%. In late 2004, Bill was lured away to become Sr. V.P. of Business Development for a publicly traded healthcare organization. By 2007 the organization’s stock price had doubled and at years end, new sales revenue had grown by nearly 300%. While being the Sr. VP of Sales this organization, Bill found a market void in educational and developmental resources for his sales management team. As a result, he founded the EcSELL Institute in 2008.
Lincoln, NE is home for Bill, his wife Kerstin and three children; Will, Claire and Madison. His passions, outside of family, are usually outdoor related activities. He is an avid hunter, fisherman and biker, spending as much time as possible in the fall at his hunting cabin in western Nebraska. His city, church and community are important to him and he serves on several boards which reflect his interest in civic responsibility.
