Wordpress Comment Spam: How do you deal with it?

I'm with the others here that have recommended Akismet but it's important to keep it regularly updated.
Wordpress allows a few different moderation options. Go to SettingsDiscussion to edit yours.

What does it mean to "point your domain?"

Hi Troy,
Usually 'pointing your domain' involves telling your registrar (a company like GoDaddy, Network Solutions, etc.) where your website is hosted. As Shashi mentions above, this involves changing your DNS settings.
