What do you do when a candidate has misspellings on their resume?
It depends on the job description and how many applicants. If I am hiring for a bookkeeper where detail orientation is critical, I will throw out resumes with typos. If I have 100 resumes to sift through, I will also discard the ones with typos. ... more
