Finished studies and military service (1998) I was a web software developer for "Modus Informatica & Sistemi" (merged in Espin - FIAT Business Solutions 2001) and a key account having responsibility of the pubblic companies sector.

The second experience was in Manetti & Robert's (Bolton Group) for two years like sales representative of two specific italian regions in the pharmaceutical field.

After two years I decide to go back to the ICT market but implementing my own company/project in the VoIP field. This project took me about 6 years moving from a small company to a big project with finance support from business angels. The first name of the company was Gedam Europe and the last one was PrivateWave Italia moving from VoIP technologies to VoIP security and voice encryption.

I'm now the Sales Director of Sysnet IT Solutions, a system integrator and IT consultancy company with branches and offices located in Italy and Romania, managing the network of business developers, sales agents and partners.

Does adding more bandwidth solve issues of jitter and latency?

I totally agree with Derek. The unique alternative to QoS management is to use separate connections between real time services (VoIP, FoIP, Video Conference, etc.) and other services. The choice tipically depends on the traffic volumes and costs.

There are many countries with restrictions and also the carriers that offer mobile data connection are moving to filter/block voip traffic on his services.
