David Mair

David is a proven senior executive with a track record of building and motivating teams, meeting objectives, and getting the details right. Programs under his direction have won multiple awards for innovation and excellence. He developed risk management strategies for American Olympic Teams at seven Olympic Games and for more than 100 world championship games and teams. He also developed an international benefits plan for top US athletes that operated as less than 50% of benchmark costs for more than a decade, an experience he brings today to others.

David's experience includes 15 years with the United States Olympic Committee as its Director of Risk Management and Finance Division chief of staff. He also has experience as a consultant with companies from start-ups to Fortune 100 firms on risk-related matters, and as an insurance broker. Prior to joining China Connection Global Healthcare, David spent three years with one of America's largest travel, medical and security assistance companies leading its client services and emergency operations functions.

David is a widely sought out speaker and authority on strategic issues facing business in today’s changing environment. He has testified before Congress, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and over a dozen state legislatures. His comments have appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Business Insurance, and The Economist, and he has been featured on National Public Radio and the BBC.
