My background is firmly in the physical events space working for various companies, most recently Informa where I was Managing Director of IIR Telecoms, a business comprising many Large Scale Events.
Prior to that I was with Emap for 5 years in which time revenues for the conference business grew from £5m to +£20m.
I am now applying my events experience to the Virtual Events world. I believe firmly in the Hybrid model, but I also see great opportunities for pureplay Virtual Events which is where I am currently focused.
Informa VBC is the rebranded Online Congress business acquired by Informa in 2007. Informa VBC has a 10 year history of providing client solutions to companies such as Pfizer, PwC and Oracle, including Virtual Events, Live Streaming, Knowledge Portals and Webcasts.
