There's no magic number, and the right volume for each company is testable, as is email frequency. That said, I'd opt for 3-5/day ideally, provided you try to adhere to the 8x1 rule (every time you talk about yourself, talk about someone else 8x). more

Take a look at http://www.forrester.com/groundswell You'll be surprised at how prevalent social is among older demographics. The average age of a Linkedin user is something like 44, for instance. Another good resource for demographic data is compete.com more

Tough one. Best way to go is to contact a third party agency or app developer (I use Bulbstorm and Terralever in Phoenix) and see if they can help you. I've had zero success using the FB customer service infrastructure - which is appalling. more

Is Linkedin best for b2b?

Linkedin certainly skews B2B, but I don't think it's inherently "better" than any other social outpost. The best place to be, is where your customers congregate. more
