Starting in early 2005 with Travis Bradford of the Prometheus Institute, Boyce became determined to raise awareness of the economic inevitability of solar pv. This led to his joining Greentech Media, where he was instrumental in building what has quickly become the #1 site in Greentech.
In 2009, Joe started asking himself “what next?” and founded Gaia Worldwide, a company dedicated to making sales, marketing, and financing easy for local solar contractors and international companies entering the U.S. market. His latest initiative "One Solar Roof" levels the playing field for local businesses who compete with much larger businesses, reinventing the way they are perceived by their customers, their partners, and the public. He is also founder of SolarVisionaries.org— A destination where industry insiders and Main Street alike can learn about solar technology, economics, and the value of a booming, low-carbon economy.
