Julie Pearson

Julie Pearson is a sales and marketing professional with over 25 years experience in senior sales and marketing management roles with organisations that range from SME/SMBs to some of the largest corporations in the world. Additionally, she has worked with a variety of clients across a broad range of industries and professions as well as all level of governments in Australia, Asia and North America. Her marketing career started as a Product Marketing Manager, Office Automation, for Wang Australia, then the second largest computer company in Australia, with responsibility for 70% of the company’s revenue. During this time, Julie completed a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management. A number of rapid promotions saw her as Senior Marketing Manager, leading a team of 20 marketers, before moving into Sales as the manager of a business unit focused on sales to SMEs. Other sales roles held at Wang included Sales Manager, Wang Business Centres and State Manager, Queensland (Legal Banking & Finance).

After 12 years at Wang, Julie then joined Data General, first as Marketing Manager, Volume Products and then was promoted to National Sales Manager. At this time, Julie also completed the ADMA Certificate in Direct Marketing, achieving a credit level pass.

Around 1995, the commercial benefits of the Internet were becoming apparent so Julie joined an
international e-Business consultancy. Using both her knowledge of technology and marketing, Julie quickly established herself as an authority in online marketing, building brands online and spent a number of years working with clients around the world and as a popular speaker at e-commerce and online marketing conferences around the globe.

In 1998, she joined industry giant Unisys, to create & lead the company’s first eBusiness Program and worked in the USA, Asia, Australia and New Zealand for over two years. A brief stint at Sensis as General Manager, Online Advertising was followed by a number of years in North America as Director of Global Sales, Programs & Service for leading supplier of email marketing products and services, Campaigner. In this role, Julie steered the company to profitability six months ahead of forecast whilst providing enhanced levels of service to customers. On her return to Australia, Julie took up a role with Forty Two International – Australia’s largest email marketing supplier – as State Manager, Victoria where she built the Victorian business from scratch.

In the past seven years, Julie has worked with the popular Salesforce.com CRM service. She has
implemented, used and extensively customised this system for numerous businesses across a range of industries, professions and Not for Profit organisations in both Australia and overseas. Prior to Inoveo, she set up & ran a highly successful Salesforce.com consultancy practice for another company.

Further, Julie brings a unique management perspective to her work with Salesforce.com clients, as she has a deep understanding of how to utilise its strengths to achieve exceptional sales, marketing and customer service management.
