I represent owners and users in their data center real estate needs while overseeing Grubb & Ellis’ National Data Center Practice efforts in the Southeast region.

In practice, I help my clients to understand the issues and opportunities and ultimately to make better business and investment decisions with regard to their data center real estate.

A BIT LONGER VERSION:

After almost thirty years running my own company, I saw the need to provide more resources to my clients. Grubb & Ellis understands the business and has put together a great platform. I’m glad to be a part of something much bigger.

I have a BSEE, MBA, Professional Engineer Registration and Real Estate Broker Licenses. Previously been NASD Series 7 licensed. I've tried many things!

I have formed and operated three comapnies, KJBi *(1987), Available Data Centers (2002) and Holistech Research and Consulting (2008), each focused different aspects of data center operations, design, development and real estate.

I am a part time instructor for The Data Center Journal's education program and have covered included project management, data center design and metrics, energy savings methods and data center real estate. I am a frequent contributor to the Data Center Journal Expert Blogs (www.datacenterjournal.com/blogs).

I have written one book "Exceeding Expectations, Managing the Office Build Out" Straub Publishing and in a collaborative effort, contributed (chapter six) to Data Center Handbook, By Hwaiyu Geng , McGraw Hill Publishing.

I am interested in helping the people that I encounter in everyday life.
