Why did Salesforce.com purchase do.com and social.com? What do you expect from these domains?

My guess they want to deep dive, classify and have very strong platform on all areas. Therefore they are making such strategy and investments.
If they get succeeded to do so, will change the traditional IT to Cloud IT and will be the pioneer. more

How can one say that the data in "On-Premise" is safe? Data will be safe only in safe hands irrespective of hosting location (On-Premise or Cloud).
