Can anyone recommend a good CRM other than Sales force for someone working from a home office?

I've used both, ZoHo is similar in look and feel to SalesForce.com and very inexpensive for a full blown CRM system. more

What's the biggest, baddest IT failure you've ever seen?

Cable seeking backhoe in Downtown Dallas. Took out FDIC communications as well as several other companies. AT&T had armed guards securing the ditch. I'm not sure what ever happened to the backhoe operator or sub contractor. more

What tactics do you use to keep from "losing it" on the phones?

My attitude is its work, they pay us to do it. I put a lot of effort into not taking business personally, and always act professionally.
Problems will arise, that's an opportunity to shine.
Occasionally I'll take 10 minutes to just breathe and clear my head. more
