Mike Sapien

Mike is responsible for Ovum’s US Enterprise Practice and is focused on North American and global enterprise telecom markets. He leads Ovum’s research & advisory services on enterprise network services and managed solutions in North America with a major emphasis on the Tier 1 carriers and providers. Mike provides leadership to Ovum’s enterprise research and works directly with clients to help them understand and implement recommended strategies from the Ovum research and his extensive telecom services expertise. Mike is a regular contributor to Ovum’s Enterprise research and provides analysis of industry, vendor and product trends.
Mike has been in the telecom and internet services industries for 25 years and has been focused on new and emerging services for the enterprise market in the US. His work experience includes some of the largest US carriers as well as consulting with many of the notable competitive providers (CLECs) in the US. This has included the development, introduction and marketing of voice & data services, DSL/ISDN,‘converged’ bundles and now cloud based services to enterprise customers.
Mike has been quoted by, and interviewed with, many of the leading industry publications on new telecom and internet trends as well as emerging managed services in the US enterprise market.
Mike has a BBA and MBA from Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles) as well as completion of an executive program at Columbia University.
