My long-term career goal is to help create necessary change in the world of work, where most people spend more time than with their families, so that we may all be more personally and professionally gratified. What are some of the biggest myths or misconceptions about diversity in today’s workplace?

I think the biggest myth is that if an employee has global experience, it follows that they are skilled at intercultural communication. Intercultural understanding needs to be taught and supported in an organization and very few spend the time and resources.

I'd love to see a good answer to this question myself - I'm admittedly not on the team that figures this out in my company, but I can't really tell how we measure the effectiveness of this particular form of marketing.
