I find this sufficient:
ServerName site1
DocumentRoot "C:/wamp/www/drupal6"
Options FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride All
Order allow,deny
allow from 127.0.0.1
I also do not (generally) put themes or modules in the site folder. Rather I add them to sites/all/... This way, I don't accidentally get different versions between the sites.
