Neil is the Group HR Director for the Random House Group, the UK division of the world's largest trade book publisher, with responsibility for the UK, Australia, New Zealand and India. As well as his reponsibility for the HR function, Neil also sits on the main board of the Group.
Prior to joining Random House, Neil worked mainly for FTSE100 organisations, including 8 years with Home Retail Group in a variety of specialist and generalist HR roles and before that Rentokil Initial.
A member of the Chartered Insititute of Personnel and Development, Neil holds an Honours degree in psychology and a postgraduate qualification in HRM. Neil is an experienced blogger and commentator on all things related to HR and management.
