1. It should provide the same for a lot less money.

2. Or it should provide a lot more for the same money.
I would go for 1. ( reliable, good quality, ...)

What does 'listen to your customer' really mean?

And confirm the fact you are listening, by repeating what they have just said.
So that they get this 'at least somebody is listening at me...' feeling.
An example: So if I understand you well. Your problem is .... because it is ... and ....etc.. more

Is your company adopting the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)? Why or why not?

We should not try to solve the T38 problems (which is all about time-out settings in the fax machines btw). We shoud get rid of the fax as a message technology.
Morse, telex are gone. I guess fax and pots should be next.
