My career began in the fast paced cosmetic and pharmaceutical corporate world where I held several key executive positions including Process Engineer, IT Director and Manufacturing Operation Manager. During that time, I gained knowledge and practical experience in all functional areas including: marketing/sales, IT, financial, R&D, manufacturing, and distribution. I was responsible for the design and implementation of a total ERP system which encompassed all of these areas and then had the unique experience of making it work in the real world. For more than 2 decades, I have owned a management consulting firm providing general management, re-engineering, process improvement, and information technology services to a wide array of industries. Now as a senior, who still enjoys working, I focus on the following goals:
• Helping companies get stalled or failed projects back on track and bringing them to a successful end.
• Mentoring individuals and businesses
• Putting together presentations, seminars and program(s) focusing on the softer side of operations, i.e., motivation, ethics, customer service, professionalism, etc.
• Providing specialized research. In this fast-paced, every changing world, few business owners and executives have time to stay on top everything. Running the business is a full time job and there is little time to research topics of critical importance and special interest. I will research and present detailed, concise, and timely information on whatever subject needed. Topics may range from asset management, to equipment evaluation, training, business ethics, dealing with stress and strain in the workplace, technology, project management, to using information as a strategic weapon, etc. Management will get an independent, real-world point of view that helps them make informed “bet the business” decisions.
My career and reputation were built on the ability to come into tough situations and quickly define the problems and improvement opportunities. My low-key style works well with individuals of different disciplines, and I can effectively communicate with business users ranging from senior management to first line personnel, and customers. I speak their language not some technical jargon using three letter acronyms. As a change agent, I helped organizations achieve new levels of efficiency, productivity, morale, and customer service. Combining a logical “hands-on” no-nonsense approach with real-life experiences, my methodology is easily adapted to any situation across a diverse range of industries including real estate. I am not your typical real estate agent or consultant but a businessman. I don’t blow smoke or make wild claims but I do get positive results.
