Advice on choosing a network router?

I'm a travel agent, and have recently decided to open up an office with 3 of my colleagues. We are researching the best ways to network our office, and are having difficulty deciding how to choose a network router. Wireless would be easiest, however we can't risk screwing up a client's transaction if the signal drops. There is a slight possibility of this happening because our office has cement columns running through the middle of it. At the same time, I don't want to have cables running all over my office. I don't like the clutter and I want our space to be as neat and organized as possible. Any suggestions?

I would advise checking consumer reports on any wireless product. I recently deployed a common Cisco (Linksys) wireless router that was unstable. I replaced it with a wireless router from Adtran that is more of a business class product and not a consumer product. I was very satisfied with that.
