Any end user feedback for Chatter, CubeTree or other social collaboration tools?

We're looking at both Chatter and Cubetree. First we're interested in end-user feedback on these types of tools. More specifically, do these tools help facilitate process and communication in the name of getting things done (i.e. moving projects along, closing business, etc.). Or are these tools just another distraction for employees? Also, how would you compare these social collaboration suites? Would you recommend other tools?

They're both missing the tasks part. If you want to streamline the process, better use something like Teambox or Yammer.
