Are there any good CRM Software for Small Businesses?
We are a very small social advocacy program. Looking for a good "extremely affordable" web based crm company that will get us up and running quickly. We need a monthly subscription service. With them preferably providing inhouse support. We have a very small budget and need someone that will provide: implementation planning, configuration and integration, semi-customized fields, capture our leads/account info from our website (wordpress cms)into crm, database that provide's unlimited contacts, bulk import/export using Excel, built in customer satisfaction surveys, service; case histories (tasks/activities). In addition, to sales & marketing (campaigns/tracking/trends/forecast)reports.

It sounds like that your Wordpress CMS integration will probably be your toughest obstacle since most budget-friendly CRMs don't usually offer that level of customization. Looking into an open source platform like Sugar or vTiger is a good bet as they'll probably offer more customization than some proprietary systems. Other great budget CRMs that you'll want to consider are: Zoho, eSalestrack and Highrise. Also - if you're considering social networking integration, you might want to check out Batch Book. They advertise a lot of the features you're looking for and have the added bonus of integrating with Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others.
Best of luck!
There are a number of open source CRM applications available for small companies. Sugar CRM and VTiger CRM are two that could meet your needs quickly, and customization is available. Both offer commercial support as well.
Both would have browser based connectivity, and with correct hosting, you could access the database from anywhere.
We use Vtiger with great success. There are consultants available that can help to implement most CRM applications.
WIth a little education, someone on your staff could become an expert on these system and allow for in-house expertise.
Have had two experiences with SugarCRM and currently using it again .. it does the job well. JB
I am currently using CapsuleCRM which is a decent system. There is a fairly new one out developed by a few people I know called TinyCRM that has had some good reviews to date.
Not sure if this will help you reach your goals, but this is a link to the top10 Open-Source CRM solutions as per this review. I haven't dug in to these yet, but I would suggest opening these up and skimming their overviews, I'm sure one will meet your needs and likely require little to no formal setup. Most Open Source software is designed to reside on your own server (or PC in the corner of an office, depending on your needs) and they usually have good tutorials or forums to help you along. One really nice thing about most Open Source software is that you can get in to the source and customize and add features until you're blue in the face. Plus the Free price tag isn't too bad either!
The Author give a decent overview from what is saw.

I'm a fan of Open Source, but do your homework before jumping on one. If you need to put a pile of time in to get the same results as a licensed software, make sure the cost of that work is less that the paid software or you're just wasting money. Many people who go for Open Source software neglect to watch for this as the Free part gets them locked in. Good luck! Cheers
J.,
Several good suggestions above. I would challenge your thinking on using one tool to accomplish all of your objectives. Without understanding your operation, I will offer you an example of an approach that I might recommend:
1. Wufoo forms- to create forms for your WordPress site for data collection. You will be able to create forms for anything you will want to gather information for.
2.MailChimp or RatePoint as an email service provider for all of your list management and communications with prospects and customers. Either integrates well with WordPress and RatePoint has very powerful reviews and ratings built right in, and all data can be exported/imported at will.
3. Caty and Trevor have listed several effective "CRM" applications to review and most will work well with other solutions.
Summary - I recommend that you consider a multi-tool approach to get you excellent results for each need rather than a "CRM" tool that will attempt to do it all. Then hire a company that understands these tools and can provide the planning, integration, and support for your team.
All the answers that have been given are solid. I would recommend a web-based application that has integration capabilities. Intelecrm is based on the modern, web 2.0 framework and includes hosting, advanced functionality, and support for unlimited users. There are packages that fit nearly every organizational need, and costs range from $240-$3360/yr for unlimited users. Might be worth a look. There is a whitepaper that compares Salesforce.com vs. SugarCRM vs. Intelecrm: http://www.intelestream.net/en/whitepapers/sugarcrm-versus-salesforce-com-and...
All the requirements you listed appear out-of-box, so the CRM tool looks like it will cover your use case

Another suggestion to meet your requirements is Microsoft CRM Online – you can be up and running very quickly and can choose to work with an authorized Microsoft CRM Partner to help set up the solution with your data, customizations, etc. Check out the sales, marketing and service tabs to see more specifics: http://smb.ms/duTaK0
