Jake, There are actually quite a few HRIS systems that employ SaaS technology, or cloud computing. If you Google "HRIS SaaS" you'll find plenty of offerings. My firm has developed a proprietary system over the last eight years that is integrated with the payroll system and available in a modular format.
Jake - Some of the major players in SaaS based HR systems are Workday, Ultimate and ADP. As William mentioned you can Google HRIS SaaS to find a more complete list. Although many vendors are switching their terminology from "SaaS based offering" to "Could based offering" I do no think we have a consistent definition of "Cloud Computing" yet.
