Are there any up-and-coming business intelligence vendors on the horizon?

With so many business intelligence vendors having consolidated in the past few years, it seems most companies are sticking with one of the "Big Four." My concern is that, as is often the case when a market shrinks, this will slow down innovation. Does anyone know of any up-and-comers among BI vendors that have enough momentum to shake things up?

I have the opportunity to see beauty and power of
'Tableau'
for analytical purposes.
'LogiXML'
is strenghtening.
As Kirsty said, BIME was built from scratch and that is always a plus; and everything is made in-house. Also, they built it in flex which I personaly think is great choice.

Yes - we see Bime as an up-and-coming business intelligence solution for various reasons. Bime was built from scratch, starting in 2007. We are totally focused on providing the easiest and best business intelligence suite on the market. We are continuing to grow organically as demand for SaaS products skyrockets and users reject the traditional BI systems for lightweight and intuitive offerings. Our product development targets change rapidly as we add new features to the product every couple of weeks, but we're also working on the next revolution in BI software, Bime 2.0 which we hope will be released in September.

The market for SaaS BI is skyrocketing as the technology, market awareness and customer needs have aligned perfectly. SaaS and cloud computing are being covered by every analyst and every blog, and we are thrilled to be at the forefront of this innovation wave.

With the release of the Google Analytics Connector (enabling you to connect to your GA data), we really think we have more than enough momentum to shake things up in the BI market.

We are launching OCTOPUS-3G, Desktop based customer intelligence tool. This is not site analytic tool, this is customer purchase behavior analysis tool which works wonders when combined with site analytic.
