Are there easy Manual Outbound forecasting formulas?
How do I forecast hours required for an outbound campaign if I know only leads (10 000) and expected AHT (3 minutes).
it would be dialled manually to start - so do I need information regarding connects, right party connects etc or is this making it overly complicated. Are there industry standards to be used in place of known information?

You may want to read the following article titled "Outbound Campaign Design and Management" @ http://www.vendorseek.com/outbound-campaign-design.asp.
It appears that you need to get just a bit more information about your campaign before you look into numbers. For instance, what percentage of pickups do you expect?
Lets plug your numbers into this formula: Numbers ÷ Percentage Likely Reached ÷ Reaches Per Hour (1hr ÷ AHT x Callers) = Number of Hours Required.
10,000 ÷ 80% (industry average?) ÷ 20 (1hr divided by 3min AHT intervals) = 400hrs.
So for a list of 10,000 numbers with an 80% penetration and only 1 employee and a 3 minute AHT we find out that it would take that person 400hrs to complete the campaign.
