Question is, what wouldn't you do!
Slideshare is key for speaking, especially for events running more than 30 min. It is my belief that this drive engagement and retention. Being social in nature, I think a visual component would exponentially facilitate that.
Video is also key, particularly if there is some aspect of training to it. IMHO, visual dialogue is core to a real learning or training process.
Image would also be nice, if nothing else, as a simple visual component. I love the platform as it is now, don't get me wrong, but I believe each of these would facilitate the primary 'value props' of the platform: it's social, interactive nature; it's educational/ thought leadership piece; and it's ability to track and show interest based on the content presented.
