Are You Using New Gen Marketing Techniques?
Whether using webinars to generate leads, viral YouTube videos to increase brand awareness, or Twitter and Facebook to proactively manage customer service escalations, small companies ‘acting big’ are now harder to distinguish from larger, more established firms.
A small company can now launch a 50,000-contact email campaign for $250/month, run search engine ads on the world’s biggest search engine for less than $10/day, and launch a press release to hundreds of thousands of media outlets all over the world for free.
We've launched a short 10-question survey to understand the differences in perceptions and use of new gen marketing techniques, as well as the need for "surround" consulting services. We plan to tabulate the results as soon as we get to a significant sample, and present the key findings to this community in a FOCUS Brief.
Regardless of your role, function or size company, please click below and take 5 mins to answer the questions to help us shed some light on adoption of new gen marketing techniques...

This should be a great report when it is out Nick. New Gen Marketing is available to any company no matter how small. Ours is a small team but we use Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, and our blog to increase our marketing footprint.
Us too Richard @cazoomi and have noticed that Nick is on target as our spend so far is inline with his #'s above with a very focused word-of-mouth campaign since this is part of our specialty at Cazoomi.
Now we just need to get a blogger on our staff:)
Nick, I would like to create a poll on Linkedin which uses yours since our following of our Cazoomi members are about 2000 and they monitor when we have new ideas or polls of interest? Let me know via email or phone anytime.
Enjoy the weekend guys.
Clint. That's fine with me. It would be best to just use my link so we can pool all of the survey responses in one place. once I get 100+, I'll release both my findings as well as the raw data for anyone in the community who wants to do further massaging of the date.
To both your points, I really feel strongly that this is really a force to be reckoned with......smaller companies "acting big" using the full power of Marketing 2.0. It really ha the potential to shift market dynamics. I am experiencing it first hand with the launch of emorfie.
Hi Nick, is the survey results out now? Would not mind seen a copy? Even better if you upload the results (pdf) to edocr.com for sharing with the mass.
Wonder whether you had reviewed Clint's http://cazoomi.com, which is a powerful market place for SaaS products (and other apps), which put early stage technology businesses next to giants. He is doing a great service promoting many new brands.
Best regards

Manoj - unfortunately not yet. As is so often the case nowadays, it proved difficult to get a statistically significant sample. I am continuing to promote it and will publish the results as soon as I have enough responses. Thank you for the interest. And thanks for the link to cazoomi.
Nick,
I noticed you are using Constant Contact and if you have NetSuite, Salesforce or other CRM our newest connector to ANY CRM out there will sync your marketing lists and contacts in a Snap to Constant Contact.
It is in the SnapLogic.com store now and will be released in the new Constant Contact MarketPlace in a few weeks.
