Are you using a tablet device (iPad) in your small business setting? How?
As adoption increases, I am interested to hear how much impact the iPad or any other new tablet (did you hear that Google is planning to release its own this Fall?) may be having in how you operate your small business?I'd like to know what caused you to adopt the technology and how you are using it to deliver greater value to your customers? Bonus if you have a retail business. Thanks.

We have not started using the iPad yet, however it is in the works for our retail stores later this year. We plan to use it for our new electronic price book as well as jewelry design websites to show our customers. Right now our price books are three inches thick and expensive to purchase at $150 each. We have been resorting to using White Out to change the prices as needed. Not very professional. We look forward to the electronic price book on a tablet as it will be easier to use with customers, and update our prices as the gold prices change. The tablet will make showing customer's design ideas more manageable because of the small size, great resolution for photos and won't tie up our other computer for inventory adjustments, ringing up customers, etc. And many more things that we have not realized yet!
