I also use Time Machine but have tried Carbonite and Barracuda in the past. My only issue with cloud based backups is that they tend to slow your computer down a fair amount when they are syncing.
I use Time Machine (comes with Mac OS) and an external hard drive
as well as Mozy for off-site. Mozy is unobtrusive and the latest version of their Mac client software is very good.
I don't use any type of Cloud-based back up. I use Time Machine to back up my iMac and Mac Mini. I have a 500G storage drive attached by USB to my Airport Extreme router so either computer can back up at any time. Both computers are wired to the network. You could also buy Time Capsule which would provide a wireless back up solution leveraging Time Machine. Time Capsule comes with either 1 or 2 Terabytes of storage and can also function as a wireless base station for other wireless clients.
BTW, I'm waiting for Time Machine to be able to back up to a cloud-based service (like iDisk and me.com). I believe right now Time Machine can only back up to a physical disk.
