Is Best Buy the best place to find computers on sale?
I need to purchase 5 machines for my office. Definitely on a budget, but we don’t want a poor product either. I have been noticing that Best Buy is having sales lately… are they the best place to find good computers on sale for businesses? Or would you recommend Office Depot or other office supply stores. Any insight would be great.

Best Buy is one option. You may want to try the Dell Outlet store online as well. They sell refurbished systems and returns at a good discount.
The nice thing about this is they usually include the standard warranties but the return policy is a bit strict. Make sure you read the fine print on the terms and conditions.
B&H Photo is the biggest secret in computers. There prices are great, vast selection and unparalleledcustomer service . They will give you unbiased advice and full service pre and post sale. Visit their Super store in Manhattan or online http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/browse/Computers-Solutions/ci/9581/N/4294542559
I agree, Best Buy is an option, but also look into refurbished computers. You can find great deals on refurbished computers and laptops if you do a little research on the web. It's amazing what you can come across if you designate 20 minutes of your day to searching google for cheap computers/computers on sale.
Best Buy computers are usually past their prime, meaning that they are very unlikely to be upgradable and/or have subpar hardware inside (i.e. 'slower speed hard drives, slower ram, minimal CPU or motherboards).
As James stated, Dell Outlet (http://outlet.dell.com) is one good option. I also recommend taking a look at uBid's Desktop computer line (http://www.ubid.com/computers/desktop-computers) for a great place to get high-level machines at low costs as well.
Dan, the biggest thing to do FIRST is ask yourself what these 5 new computers must do. If all they do is check email and surf the net with a browser, you don't need the latest and greatest. We run mostly Mac at our office, a decision that was probably one of the best I ever made back in the 1990's. Our customer service folks still use Mac's that are 8 years old. We run a client-server application that is not client intensive. Other than that, it's mostly email and some activity on the Internet. On the other hand, for working on video or promotional materials, we recently bought a top of the line iMac, absolutely necessary for working with these types of programs.
If what you intend to do is graphic intensive, buy the best for that individual user or office.
For field service, we use rugged laptops from Getac (similar to Toughbook, etc.). Lots of deals on eBay. Again, we don't need the latest for this sort of work; these don't come pre-loaded with all of the junk software that takes 4 hours to clean off before you start loading your own software. You can purchase 2 year old rugged laptops for a fraction of new. In the case of the most recent Getac purchased on eBay, it was new in the box.
