I'm sad to say there is no correct answer. It depends, in part on what you are looking for in relation to term and conditions, term of lease, cost of software, pricing, service, speed of approval, etc.
We've leased software for 17 years, primarily for vendors, and have found most users like to deal thru vendor-related leasing company, but that's just our experience.
