First look at CSA and CloudAudit.

They have a log of pieces together already.

Anton is spot-on regarding CloudAudit and the Cloud Security Alliance. In addition, vendors such as EMC and Intel are starting to produce collateral worth reading in this critical arena. I also strongly recommend that you begin with whatever documented best practices and requirements are already in place for non-cloud providers and resources, and using variants of these as minimal requirements for cloud security. Consistency and integration are important for delivery of comprehensive security.

Any thoughts about what would be on the check list? Thanks, Michael.

I would look at the Cloud Security Alliance. They are doing a lot of work in this area.
