im from alaska and our school is trying to make a coffee shop. because we only have one restaurant in this village. we need money for two coffee shop stands and also coffee machines. maybe put a finance down? or one of your helpful ideas.

Congratulations on your initiative! It's exciting to start a new business.
How much money will you need? Can you have fund raising activities at the school? Perhaps you could consider teaming with the existing restaurant and they could help you get started. That would be a win/win situation for everyone.

If you have gourmet coffee drinkers in town, why not link up with a Kona Coffee farmer directly for product? The http://KonaCoffeeFarmers.Org website has a BUY DIRECT link you to individual farms who are members of the organization. You might be able to get a farm to offer coffee for you to brew or bags to sell in your shop. Eliminating the middleman means higher profit for you.
These farmers only sell 100% Kona and not the cheaper Kona blends often found elsewhere.
Make your shop a friendly place to visit.
Starting a new business is always hard. You can get awasome prices in all what you need in ebay because most of them are manufacturers. Why don't you try to check their prices?
