Hi Mona - we had a great demonstration this week of a technology called SalesFusion which provides drip email and is fully integrated with a variety of CRM platforms. Take a look. http://www.salesfusion.com/
I use a combination of Talk Fusion ( video communications) to drip by saying thank you's, holiday greetings and I have found that people respond to them and enjoy getting them. It get about a 10% return. It really just about staying in touch with your customer..A newsletter can also help you. It all about appreciating the people in your circle.
Mona, there are plenty of solutions out there, but as you point out - you may have to integrate two pieces together to give you what you need. This is largely dependent upon what you're trying to do.
