No. I am not a fan of a large, extensive signature so have tried to minimize mine.

Here is mine:

My most important link is the last one, allowing anyone to schedule a 15 minute exploratory call instantly via @TimeTrade.

Miles, I love how tight your signature is. Well played.

Generally, I think if your name is common, it helps to have a direct LinkedIn link. Otherwise, it is tremendously easy to use google/linkedin search it.

Do you get meetings from the "schedule a call" offer?

Yes, I get several meetings a week using this technique. I have several time options available to me, and find that the one above for 15 minutes is great for that first call when people want to explore what I do. Used it last week to schedule a call with your old friend Kevin G.

Another approach is to include it as one of my 3 allocated Web Sites on my LinkedIn profile. I book 4-5 meetings a month with that link alone.

Sort of a Cold Call in reverse - a customer calls me after setting the appointment with the link.

Awesome approach Miles, I'll have to tighten mine. I also like the schedule time idea--will copy it if you don't mind.

I just posted Timetrade costs, but found them online: here is Timetrade's products and pricing page. http://www.timetrade.com/product.aspx

I do. I think the length of the signature isn't so important since someone who wants to connect will glance at the options and choose the one that works. I like to offer several ways to connect.

i just altered my signature to take off a number of items. I actually pulled my blog and twitter, it was too distracting. It was also redundant to put my email signature on there.

Here's mine: i still may have too much. I haven't put a calendar like TimeTrade or Tungle.

Not schilling my own work, but I penned an article about the email signature for GigaOm a few months back... (wow, actually, it was over a year ago). Maybe helpful to this convo?

Some email services allow you to hyperlink any text or image. I have a mini LinkedIn icon at the end of my email address in addition to mini icons with corresponding hyperlinks to my Twitter and Facebook accounts. Therefore, it takes up very little space. I'd show it to you, but efforts to copy and paste don't work here with images.

No, I don't. I treat the e-mail signature as a way to get in touch with me; so it has my contact information, not some advertisement, that the LI profile is. And then I am running more than one company; the LI profile needs to be sort of generic, the e-mail signature is to the point.

My 2 cents from NZ
Cheers
Thomas

I wonder if there have been any serious studies done concerning email signatures and their impact on business development. Speaking strictly from my own experience and observation, they are used primarily for contact purposes (phone and email address), and secondarily for links to websites or blogs.
