Is there anything special about the practice that sets it a part from other practices? Things like targeting a low income area or under-served demographic or doing some type of novel research? Most grants are targeted to one of the aforementioned topics. Also, all of the ones I've seen take 6-12 months to review and fund. If your business does qualify, the best place for you to find federal grants is the National Institutes of Mental Health. State and local governments might also have some grants.
Traditional venture capital will not look at financing your business unless you can show that you will be doubling in value every year for the next 5-6 years.
