Does your advertising agency also do your branding?

Our advertising agency also takes care of our branding. To me, they pretty much go hand-in-hand. Why would you use a separate branding agency? What are the benefits?

Some advertising agencies are also experts at brand development, but it all depends on the backgrounds and experience of the team that's working on your account. Branding experts are trained and experienced in processes that help define the "essence" of your business and what makes you different from (and better than) your competition. A great brand has a life long beyond that of an ad campaign.

Branding agencies tend to be:
- experienced
- objective
- aware of trends in branding
- research-focused

A great brand is so much more than a logo and a tagline. It can serve as your company's "mantra" and can distinguish you in a powerful and credible way from your competitors.
