Eloqua launches website in German. Is it the final breakthrough for Marketing Automation in Europe?
Fresh off the press, http://www.eloqua.de/ is now online. Eloqua is the first Marketing Automation vendor to launch a fully localized website in Germany. Do you think this will boost the acceptance for Marketing Automation in the European market?

It for sure shows the importance of the European market to Marketing Automation vendors. We have seen in the past vendors doing the first step from the US to the UK. That Eloqua launches a German website proves that they are here to stay. In my opinion, we are still at the beginning and it's all about the First-mover advantage.
Thanks, Sebastian! There has been lots of movement recently in the marketing automation market in Germany. I only noticed later that Silverpop has a German website as well. The copy reads a bit strange for German native speakers, but it's good to see more vendors doing this investment in the German market.
It'll be interesting to see if there are some interesting documents and email programs coming up as well. This would be the next logical step from having the website localized.
