Employee scheduling software?
I’d like to find a software that will help with creating schedules as well as offer a portal so that employees can check their schedules online from home. Any suggestion?

Donna - I would recommend looking into Hakuna Scheduling Software, they sound like exactly what you are asking for. Their algorithm helps the manager in generating the schedule by tracking requests off, permanent shifts and employee availablility. Each employee is also able to login to check their schedule from any internet connection. Their website is located at http://www.hakunaschedulingsoftware.com
I'm using Hakuna now and love it. Easy to use and does what I need. It's saved us a lot of time and headaches, from both my end as the employer, and my employees love it as well--MANY less complaints from them.

Do you mean Rota schuduling or do you mean project resource (people) scheduling? There are plenty of each type. You just need to give us a bit more information to avoid the "our's is best" responses.
