Good email newsletter service for B2C clinic?

I'm working for a small health care clinic, and the doctors have come up with an idea to produce a monthly e-newsletter to send out to our current patients. We're not trying to secure more leads with this campaign, merely keep our current patients informed of news and trends so we wouldn't need strong lead nurturing functionality. What service would you recommend? Please note that we don't have too big of a budget, and would need 3 user licenses.

Lots of free platforms to choose from, MailChimp is one of many.

I think the takeaway is that you can execute email marketing for free (on the deployment side) when you are talking low volume.

As well, since you are not going to really dig deep into analytics, you're better off spending your money on good email design rather than a platform that has all the bells and whistles.

If you are wondering about what to look for in a paid-for deployment tool, I wrote a brief on here about selecting an email platform, so do give it a read!

good luck!

Starting out and small, on a tight budget? Check out Mail Chimp. Don't know about the licenses....

+1 on MailChimp. Love their free-forever for 300 (or was it 500?) subscriber list.

Another option is LoopFuse. Not quite as sexy on email only, but they offer a lot of additional functionality, and also are free-forever for up 2,500 subscribers.

Re: Mail Chimp 500 subscribers (a least it was) I believe and can email several times a month.

Another vote for Mailchimp. Customer interface is easy to use. Support area has tons of helpful documentation on best practices. Rather simple form integration so you can allow for new subscriptions from your site if needed. All users would use the same shared account I believe.

I've heard AWeber is also a good bet, but may have a more technical interface.
