Has anyone used Paycheck's payroll services?
I am looking for a new payroll provider and stumbled across the company Paycheck Payroll Services. On their website they are offering free payroll, and the offer ends August 31st. Does anyone have any experience with this vendor? Are they reputable? If not, what other online payroll services do you recommend looking into?

I have used this vendor in the past. I found the system to be moderately sophisticated and servicable for a 100 person company. As my company grew we switched to ADP for greater sophistication in the application, expertise and customer service.
I would not recommend their tax services as we expereinced a signficant issue due to Paychex having incorrectly setup our account, and therefore remitting our taxes according to an incorrect schedule. They did not acknowledge any responsibility for tax setup, although we hired them because they market themselves as tax experts. They were not forthcoming in detail to help us investigate the issue and cost my compnay over $1000 in penalites and it took over 6 months to resolve the issue with the State.
Their lower cost was not worth the potential exposure they created for us with our tax payment issue.
Do you mean Paychex? If so, it is very reputable and I have had excellent personal experience with the company.
The provide a host of services, including a 401(k) plan, etc. They will provide services that match your needs.

Iris - No Paycheck Payroll Services is different than Paychex, though I have been looking at their system too! I'm glad to hear that you've had such a good experience with them, that makes me feel confident.

Barbara - I have not used Paycheck Payroll, however my company provides payroll services to companies up to 125 employees. We offer a payroll only module up to full payroll, tax and benefits admin services. We do not offer an on-line link for you to input your own information unfortunately. We have been in business for over 12 years and are located in SC. Please let me know if you would like additional information.
Yes, we used Paychex and term'ed in December. High prices, constantly changing account reps that lost processing instructions in handoff. I can't say positive things about ADP either. I was fedup with the big companies and searched hard for a good solution. We ended up with California Payroll and have been very happy with their online timecard (TimeForce) and payroll processing so far this year. Good luck with your search, Ken
I'm not familiar with Paychex, however, if your company is 100 employees or less, I can recommend The Payroll Professional. I know the owner personally and she is very customer service oriented. Her name is Monika Lobato and she can be reached at (636) 541-2028.

We use to use Paychex but we switched to ADP for our payroll processing and now use their HRIS program also. Very satisfied with their service.
