Has your company saved money by outsourcing its payroll?
I'm looking for some real numbers here - percentages or otherwise if you're comfortable enough to dish the details.

Hi Samantha,
I have worked with 2 organisations recently to help them source outsourced payroll providers. I cant answer your question exactly, as they were changing providers, but I can give you a big indication of the savings.
From the recent exercise , each provider and they spanned the market, including the winning bid, charged around £8000 a year for a FULLY MANAGED payroll for 150 staff. You can work that back to per payslip rates, which most charge on.
If a fully managed payroll is going to cost you around £8000 a year, then there are clear savings if you are using in house resource. Particularly if you have highly paid IPP qualified payroll consultants !!
Hope that helps, but please contact me directly, if you want any more detail on the exercise I went through.
