Have any new SEO strategies emerged with the release of Microsoft's Bing Search Engine?

Microsoft has recently replaced Live Search with Bing... which they have dubbed as a “decision engine”. The site obviously is too young to have attracted any huge following but it is no doubt that Microsoft will be spending money to increase their share. Has anyone found any tricks and tips for getting a top listing on Bing?

It's almost not worth expending any effort against at this point, but for the sake of the academic exercise, I would get a keyword rich domain, with some modicum of reputation, optimize any location-based variables, keep the content minimally fresh, and then throw a ton of anchor text at it.

Information retrieval isn't all that revolutionary at this point and they are starting with a nascent graph, so they can't focus on some of the really heavy computational stuff. Pretty easy to spam.

Bing seems to be picking up pace among search engine users. Bing is more fast and has a better interface which could make this search engine popular among search engine users.

Bing gives more preference to On-Page Optimization factors as compared with Off-Page Optimization. This could be a boon for webmasters who might have got tired of optimizing their websites on Google.

Bing has received some kudos although I don't think they have done enough to impact the search engine market. Google currently has 77% of the search traffic, Yahoo has 17% and Bing is the runner-up with 7%.

Now that Microsoft and Yahoo have partnered, I think that the impact will be felt. But, Google will still hold its lion's share.

To optimize for Bing, you should follow standard SEO standards such as a keyword rich domain name, good content, link building, and onsite link building using keywords.
