Have new technologies made it easier for startups to be successful?
With new tools like social media, social networking (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), and blogging. It gives users an easier path to find resources for starting a business and finding the best deal. Do you think it was easier when the economy was great and people could find funding with less tools? Or do you think new technologies have made it easier for companies even though funding is poor these days? I've heard a lot of discussion lately on small businesses and what it takes to be a great one, so I was curious to get some feedback from the community.
