Hi Nael,

After years and years of trying to find meaningful HR measures, I have to say I've stopped. The thing is that either you have to measure so many different things in order to get relevant data or you go with just a few measures, but they don't really answer any questions at all.

I know it might not be what you are thinking of at the moment, but would you consider a kind of feedback process that employees could feed back to the HR department on the areas that you set out above? You could use an online mechanism, shoot it out to say 100 employees a quarter asking them 10 questions (mixing open and closed) and then collate and evaluate the data.

It may not be what the textbooks would tell you, but I think it would probably focus you more on customer service, give you more insightful information and be less time consuming as well.

If you want to hear more about me banging on about measurement, then you can read it here: http://change-effect.com/2011/04/12/metrics-are-a-false-idol/

Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Neil
