THE HIRE ACT for a future employer

My situation is this; back in June of this year I was hired. During the hiring process I was asked to sign a document clearly stating that I had been unemployed for the last year. I was hired and 2 ½ months later, I find myself back in the job market. Question: Will my next future employer be able to take benefit of the “HIRE ACT?” It would be a benefit to me if they could, for the obvious reasons. I would be very disappointed if I am over looked for hire, simply because some employer has already submitted my name to gain the benefits.Sincerely will

You should have signed a W-11, which is the official form for the Hire Act. You sign under penalty of purgery, that you have not been working in the last 60 days. If you have worked in the past 60 days, then you do not qualify to fill out the form.

"I certify that I have been unemployed or have not worked for anyone for more than 40 hours during the 60-day period ending on the date I began employment with this employer"
